Khurda, Cuttack basketball teams share honours

Host Khurda District Basketball Association (KDBA) and Cuttack District Athletic Association (CDAA) were declared joint winners in the boys’ category of the 26th State Youth (Boys) Basketball Championship after the final match between the two sides failed to take place due to heavy rain here at the Unit-I Indoor Hall Complex today. Around 300 players and officials from 20 teams participated in the 4-day championship, which was earlier inaugurated by eminent bureaucrat Madhusudan Padhi.
